Oh Man! We are in TROUBLE!

Mckenzie LOVES chasing Donovan, our cat, around the house. Donovan doesn't really appreciate it at all! :) He runs away from her, and that just gives her more motivation to crawl towards him. His "safe space" is upstairs when Mckenzie is downstairs. He has been running up the stairs to get away. I didn't have the living room blocked off to the entry way, and Mckenzie tried following Donovan. Once she got up the step to the entry way, I was right behind her. I decided to see how she would do on the stairs. I pretty much had my hand right under her the whole time. Low and behold, Mckenzie was able to crawl up the stairs so fast! It was like she was flying up those stairs! She was having a blast too! She laughed the whole way up. I took her downstairs again and she did it again and again. This little girl is going to keep us on our toes!

Mckenzie's New Diet???

Mckenzie ate cat food today. I knew it was going to be happening soon with her being more mobile. When I caught her, she already had 2 pieces in her mouth. I quickly got them out, but then she cried and yelled. With her being so picky about eating recently, a thought crossed my mind wondering if there was anything healthy in cat food! Not that I would ever serve that to her, but it did cross my mind!

The Itsy Bitsy Blogger

I have been off and on trying to set up a blog for our family. I think it is a great way to document the happenings in our family. The thing that has held me back is coming up with a name for the blog. I wanted something different without mentioning our last name in the address. Doug, the clever one, came up with many different titles that were all taken. The Itsy Bitsy Spider is Mckenzie's favorite song right now, so The Itsy Bitsy Blogger was born. I think it fits our family's blog just perfect!
